About SolveTap

Why it exists

Homework help online splits into two camps: answer sites that finish the assignment for you, and textbooks that assume you weren't stuck in the first place. The gap between them — a patient explanation of this specific problem, at the moment you're stuck on it — is what a good tutor provides, and what most students don't have on a random weeknight.

SolveTap tries to fill that gap with three rules: it must be free (deadline panic shouldn't be a paywall trigger), it must explain every step (no answer-only mode exists), and it must live where the problem is (a browser extension beats retyping a problem into another app).

Who builds it

SolveTap is built and maintained by Khaled Ezzat, an independent developer, at khaledezzat.tech. The extensions are published on the Chrome Web Store under the same name.

Being independent cuts both ways, so we keep the claims checkable: the solvers are free, no account is required, and only the problem you capture is processed — commitments you can verify in the privacy policy and in the products themselves.

How content on this site is checked

The worked examples on our geometry, physics and statistics pages follow standard curricula (through AP and introductory college level) and are checked against the conventions used in those courses. Spot an error anywhere on the site? Email us — corrections ship fast, and we'd rather be accurate than impressive.
